ROAD TRIPPIN’

For the past five years I’ve been spending the early season riding Keystone in Colorado. The last two of those years I’ve been choosing to drive down with my Dad and others instead of flying. It’s a long ass trip, about 25 hours without stops. This year it was my Dad, Logan Short and myself. Road trips are fun even when they’re a long haul and we’re lucky that my Dad has a nice truck so the ride is pretty comfy. I travel so much and a lot of the time it involves turning my brain off and just going through the motions. When you’re in a vehicle for more than a day with people you know it’s a different experience and allows for you to get to know those people better rather than hoping the person next to you doesn’t talk to you. Yeah you know you’ve thought it before, don’t judge me haha.

Here’s a few photos from the ride, it was a lot different this year as there wasn’t any snow the entire way. It was cool to see all the sights in a different light and I got a few cool photos east of SLC.

We’ve been shredding the past two days and it’s been amazing. Everyone is here as usual and the jumps are super fun. I’m already so beat from riding so much, but stoked for the coming weeks as it’s nothing but sun in the forecast. Hoping I’ll post a video of some snowboarding one of these days.

Talk soon,

S.
