I went and saw the new movie “Beginners” tonight with Anthony. It’s a great, simple film. No frills or over the top budgets, no hidden meanings, just a straight forward story about losing love and falling in love. Ewan McGregor and Melanie Laurent are beautiful together and Mike Mills does an amazing job showing the intricateness of first meeting someone and the memories that stay with you. Christopher Plummer is amazing as McGregor’s father who waited until 75 to come out of the closet. Great film, cute, funny, endearing and real. Go see it now!
